New Facebook Alpha 0.1
So I wanted to build my own version of Facebook notes.I have a page created and have accomplished my first 5 requirements of what I wanted at first.
1) The Mainpage is Text Notes
2) No superfluous links, only links to more notes
3) Comments section for easy discussion, similar to Facebook
4) No character limits on comments, so if you want to reply with an essay answer you can without having to post more (leading to less clutter)
5) No clutter.
Now I need to work on a network for Peter and Bob, who want to contribute their writings. This part is the most difficult because I want to base a network on this extremely simple and basic design. The truth is, I'm going to make the process super complicated in order to achieve this. It will look like a simple blog, but I'll have a 'vote' feature so that the most popular blog gets the first main page and then categories for organization. This means that I'll have only increased my link factor by 4.
So for every link to a blog there'll be:
1) A link to +/- how good the blog is
2) A link to the blog category
3) A link to the writer's profile which would only consist of more of that specific writer's blogs...and maybe a profile photo.
The design would be based off newpapers sites like the Huffingtonpost or the newyorktimes.
